Marj Kittredge knew a great therapy horse when she saw one.
(Now You Can Get One Too!)
In 1964, Marj Kittredge started Windrush Therapeutic Riding Center with two retired polo ponies who became a terrific therapeutic riding horses. “You just never know,” she said. “With the right temperament and training, horses will surprise you.”
Today, ReplayPolo is following that spirit as a 501c3 organization dedicated to preparing these wonderful retiring professional polo athletes for second careers in therapeutic riding and other programs that value calm, tractable, dependable horses.
The typical polo horse has a good head, soft mouth and desensitized to its surroundings. If you are part of a therapeutic riding program or know of one that needs (and deserves) a truly special kind of horse, we’d like to hear from you.
With ReplayPolo, everyone’s a winner.
