ReplayPolo is a 501c3 organization dedicated to giving these great athletes a second career – with a therapeutic riding organization, an intercollegiate program, or one of many other enterprises looking for the right horse. We teach your horse new life skills while giving riders a chance to familiarize themselves with a special kind of sport horse.

Under normal circumstances, your donation of a horse will be tax-deductible. In addition, your contribution to maintain that horse for a year will also be tax-deductible under such circumstances. Our standard contribution requirement to support your horse is $5,000 – a modest (tax-deductible) amount to invest in order to assure its future.

Polo Pastures is a Charity based in Hampshire, England for the rehoming and retirement of Polo Ponies when they come to the end of their careers in Polo.

Our aim is to find suitable homes for Ponies who are no longer able to play Polo due to age, injury or unsuitability. All of the Ponies we rehome go out on a loan basis only and are never placed back into Polo. We also work on advising and helping Players make the right decision when it comes to finding suitable retirement options for their Ponies. We are currently the only Charity dedicated to the rehoming and retirement of Polo Ponies in the UK.

Polo Pastures was recently featured in the July 2019 edition of the Polo Times, in an article titled “From High Goal to Retirement” which talks about the options available to Polo Players when the time comes to retire their Ponies. As a Charity, we rely on the generosity of our many supporters both in and out of Polo. 100% of the donations we receive go into looking after the ponies in our care.

As the Ponies we rehome go out on a loan basis we are also responsible for their longer-term care. For example, if the pony needed to be returned to us due to a change in the loaner’s circumstances, or the loaner encounters an issue with the Pony that requires our additional input and support. We aim to keep in touch with all the Ponies that have been rehomed by us either by regular visits, email updates or through regular telephone calls.

Occasionally we take in a Pony that is not suitable for rehoming either due to age, injury or behavioral issues. These ponies are cared for by us and live with our small herd of Ponies on our 30-acre farm in Hampshire. Some of our longer term residents have been with us for over 4 years, such as Fluro who was retired with us by Oli Hipwood in 2015 and who lives a very happy life in our small herd.
