My nine-year-old daughter re-inspired my childhood love for horses. It was as if she had given me the permission to dream again of owning a horse. We began studying and reading about caring for horses together and took riding lessons. In our search for our first horse, we were connected to the Replay Polo organization and knew after speaking with Brittany, this was going to be a great fit.
Our family is very fond of the sport of polo. These ponies are so impressive not only by their strength, but how well trained they need to be to excel with the athletes who ride. One of things we were searching for in our first horse was one to be patient and not easily spooked. As beginning riders, Brittany paired us perfectly with our sweet guy, Django. He is as sweet as can be and such a gentleman as we learn all the basics of properly caring for a horse. He has already taught us so much and he is loved and adored by our whole family.
Django loves his carrots and to be groomed by the children. Everyone loves him. He’s so gentle and has brought the kids much more confidence around horses. They get right to work caring for him and doing barn chores. It’s something they look forward to and have taken pride in doing. My daughter is so proud of Django and loves to ride any chance she gets. When she can’t ride, she spends her time just being with him and talking to him. They’ve formed such a beautiful friendship.
Giving the reality of this dream to my daughter is beyond words to express. We are just so grateful for Brittany and Replay Polo for connecting us to such a sweet guy, and this incredible life of horse ownership.
