Healing Hooves Psychotherapy Inc. has adopted Ferrari.
Healing Hooves is, a PATH Center, PATH Intl ESMHL, and Natural Lifemanship TF-EAP in Southwest Ranches, Florida. Ferrari, now named Charlie, has been a wonderful addition to their herd. Healing Hooves team felt that the name Charlie fit him well due to his chestnut coat and soft brown eyes. The director stated, “A friend shared a post she had found online of Charlie and we were shocked to find he was located just a few miles from us. Our team made a visit and quickly fell in love with his calm demeanor.” ReplayPolo and his former owner knew he would make the perfect therapy horse for Healing Hooves.
The director shares a great story about Charlie:
“Charlie is the first one we hear in the morning as we start to feed. He makes the whole barn aware that he has not eaten breakfast yet. He has adjusted well to the routine of the barn and enjoys afternoons grazing with different members of the herd. Charlie has been a part of several equine-assisted activities including mounted, grooming, bathing, and round pen work. Charlie is a barn favorite and often offers a knicker to members of our team. Our hope is Charlie will continue to put on weight and return to full health. Our desire is for Charlie to continue to be apart of the work we are doing to reconnect people with themselves and the relationships they value most. We love him and are so honored to be Charlie’s forever home.”
