Fresa retired from high goal polo due to a suspensory injury. She was fed well and turned out for a year. Fortunately she healed! Yet her hooves were extremely over grown causing her to be lame.
ReplayPolo was finally called upon to get her adopted to find a happily ever after home with a loving family. First thing, an amazing farrier Chuy Garcia, came out to fix her. She did get all 4 shoes to set her up right. Then she started going on hour long walks. A month later, she only needed 2 front shoes, then started to trot and canter under saddle.
Now she lives with the sweetest family, giving tons of care to all of their animals. They also have two miniature ponies, and another retired polo gelding.
Fresa has a leisure job of trail riding and flatwork in the ring.
